Will Grant: Guardian Discovery, Book Three continues the exciting Guardian series. Dr. Jones, a neurologist, manages to rob Will Grant of his memory, allowing Stu Wainwright, a one-time State Department employee, to exploit Will's unique abilities for financial gain. He gives Will several assignments, including shutting down a gangster family's operation in Chicago, and then physically influencing a U.S. Senator's vote. Eventually, Will regains his memory, helps the federal authorities arrest Wainwright and company, and he goes on to become a special envoy to the president of the United States. In this role, he travels to the Middle East, where he assassinates a group of high-level terrorists. Afterward, Will is recruited to repair the damage caused by an impact and penetration to the International Space Station. A mishap during the mission isolates Will in open space and results in a mental breakdown. Following his recovery, Will has his first encounter with the entity that sets the stage for book four of this five-book series that explores how humans might react to a superior being.
