4 wheat varieties, 3 sowing times, 4 irrigation treatments, 33 characters were used to estimate correlation, path coefficients and stability parameters. Most of the characters showed significantly better performances under three irrigation conditions and second sowing time in both the experimental seasons. Grain yield was positively correlated with most of the characters. Path coefficients showed positive and negative direct and indirect effects with contributed characters. Stability parameters indicated that Bari wheat-28 showed the highest grand mean, regression value nearly one (bi= 1.00) and stability nearly zero at most of the characters. Out of the four varieties of wheat, Bari wheat-28 showed as the best grain yield under irrigated and rainfed conditions.
