The Analysis showed Socio-Economic Characteristics and Trip Characteristics of Modal Split Study for Student Trips from Vadodara to Waghodia. The mode chosen for a trip is influenced by both quantitative and qualitative model of the students as well as of the mode. This study explore the relationship between travel patterns and their willingness to adopt an alternate mode. The study explore the economics of carpooling with respect to the nature of participation. Data pertaining to the person and trip characteristics of the travelers is collected for student trip locations in vadodara district of gujarat state, india. The influence of socio-demographic variables like, age, occupation, household income, group size and household size on choice of travel mode is to studies using cross classification analysis. All these variables should be found causing a trend in the selection of travel modes. Objective of the study is focus on trip behavior of students by data acquisition. SPSS generate model, study suggests the major students are willing to utilize the public transport mode (like government Bus service).
