Knygos aprašymas

Mahatma Gandhi, who named the Seven Deadly Sins addressed here, was not a Christian himself. Stephen Covey quotes him as saying, "A person cannot do right in one department whilst attempting to do wrong in another department..." This could be Gandhi's best introduction to the Seven Deadly Sins. This is not a law book for Christians, but the author would like to see the laws of God at work. The deadly sins addressed here are contemporaneous. Like Gandhi, this author does not claim to be above these temptations-only the grace of God can see anyone through the day of moral challenges unscathed. This collection of poems is, therefore, a call to walk the walk of faith with God. Bio Moses Kainwo is a Methodist minister and author of Ayo Ayo Ayo and Other Love Songs. He enjoys preaching in the three languages he knows: English, Krio and Mende. As a poet and writer, Moses writes for adults and children. One of his stories was translated into French and some of his poems were translated into German for a German anthology in Africa. He acquired his M.Phil degree in theology from Fourah Bay College, University of Sierra Leone. He lives and works in Freetown where he was born in 1955. He enjoys sharing stories with his two daughters. ¿
