In the middle of big new buildings and constructions, the post war Elephant and Castle Shopping Centre is still standing. This space is not only one of the last symbols against the severe renovation of London, but also the site of 287 ethnic migrant businesses of which 96 are Latin American. The Shopping Centre has become an important meeting point for this migrant community who has appropriated this space and has given vitality to what was ignored before. However, the community finds themselves confronting the systematic dynamic of expulsions proper of this new capitalist era.
