This book will attempt to demonstrate-regardless of various scientific and other methods claiming to confirm the Christian origin of the Round Towers of Ireland-that the debate surrounding their actual history and function is still far from conclusively proven. There exists enough shadow and vagueness within the topic to suggest a far more profound and ancient mystery-when we incorporate a polymath-style approach-by examining the history of the Round Towers without ecclesiastical eyes.
