Under the constant lights of the carnival, Daniel and his parents travel the east coast selling funnel cakes. Kevin Lichty was born and raised in the Virginia suburbs of Washington, D.C. He received an MFA in Fiction from Arizona State University where he continues to teach composition. His work has appeared in Yemasee, Ponder Review, Palooka, Broad River Review, and elsewhere.
