Knygos aprašymas

The two British invasions of the Río de la Plata (1806/7) brought consequences of diverse kinds: political, economic and demographic. We can see that they formed a break, a kind of hinge between two historical moments. They contributed to the transition from a colonial society - regulated by Spain ¿ to a politically independent one, but commercially dependent on Britain, and demographically, more cosmopolitan. However, these aspects are closely linked, and we believe is necessary to write an essay where they appear linked to one another. The goal will be to show the British immigration effect on the social reality of Argentina.
