This book entitled 'synthesis and characterization of some group 9 and 10 metal complexes with ligands containing group 16 elements' comprises five series of complexes and or adducts of nickel and cobalt with O,O'-ditolyl/dibenzyl/diphenyl/alkylene dithiophosphates, O,O'-dialkyl monothiophosphate/monoselenophosphate and N-alkyl dithiocarbamate ligands. This thesis is structured in three different parts, scientically diverse but unitary in their goals. The first part is dedicated to introduction of dithiophosphate, monothiophosphate, monoselenophosphate and dithiocarbamate complexes and adducts with group 9 and 10 metals. The second part deals with synthesis of new ligands (O,O'-ditolyl/dibenzyl/diphenyl/alkylene dithiophosphates, O,O'-dialkyl monothiophosphates/ monoselenophosphates and N-alkyl dithiocarbamate) and their complexes and adducts with nickel and cobalt. Final and third part is covers results and discussion on synthesis and all analytical studies such as elemental analyses, IR, UV-Visible, NMR, magnetic moments and single crystal X-ray diffraction.
