Why is too difficult to follow up sustainable development in our countries, regions or pilot areas? It is ever as incomplete and only taken account a pair of goals. UNESCO's Man and the Biosphere programme, is all about sustainability, in an interdisciplinary approach, and UNESCO biosphere reserves are model regions for sustainable development and we should know how is running, and what we can do for to improve. La Amistad Panama Biosphere Reserve is an outstanding area with beautiful landscape and high biodiversity, but also an area with many poor people that deserve oportunities.
