Knygos aprašymas

This book studies the performance of the drive for the SRM using different kinds of converters and different techniques for triggering, through the modeling and simulation in MATLAB program. Also a practical drive for one of the converters and one of the triggering techniques is practically used to compare the practical results with the modeling and simulation MATLAB results. It has been focused in this study on overall performance of the system especially the ripple in the torque generated. In addition to that the study of effect of changing some elements of the motor on the performance in general and the percentage of the ripple in especially. The study pervades suggestion and application for some of the simple and accurate ways to get the values of the important elements for the practical motor and applying those values to the MATLAB program. Ripple factor value in the torque is 66.66% under load condition using H-bridge converter in the driver system with efficiency 77.3%. The study shows that changing one element of the motor improves the ripple factor from 66.66% to 59.57%.
