Detail of resume of literature is given in chapter-II. Applications of nucleic acids in drug development , and studies on disulphide bond containing oligonucleotides are explained in detail. The material used , synthesis of oligonucleotides and physico-chemical techniques / methods used are given in chapter ¿III. In chapters ¿IV modulation of oligonucleotide duplex stability via disulphide bond is described. Chapter ¿ V revels the results of DNA/DNA duplex formation studies using disulphide bond. In chapters ¿VI and VII studies of Triplex DNA structure (CT motif and GT motif) formation using oligodeoxynucleotide containing disulphide bond are described. Chapter-VIII describes the results of stabilization of RNA/DNA Duplex Structure by Disulphide Bond Containing Oligodeoxynucleotide. Summary at the end high light the results obtained.
