This updated edition is revised and edited by East Anglian maritime author Robert Malster and now includes a selection of photographs, many taken by the author when manager of Southwold lifeboat station in Suffolk. It recalls remarkable stories of rescue at sea by the fishermen and beachmen of the towns of Southwold, Aldeburgh and Lowestoft.
