The book shows the socio-economic impact on agricultural farmers converted to fish farmers in some selected areas of Mymensingh district in Bangladesh. The study identified some problems and constrains in culturing fish in the study area. Almost every fisherman expressed that they were happy but not fully satisfied by culturing fish due to some obstacles. The book is expected to provide information about the socio-economic characteristics of pond fish farmers. This book may also provide valuable information to the researchers for further studies of this nature in respect of the changing of farming pattern.
