He holds a PhD in International Trade and Third World Countries . He was a member of the prestigious Indian Administrative Service ( IAS ) . He is a recipient of the National Citizen's Award from the President of India . His first novel 'Happiness is a Butterfly ' was published in 2007 . He lives in Melbourne, Australia .
