SAMPLE POEM: ODE TO AN IDENTICAL TWIN The softer and the harder The sensitive and the indifferent The emotional and the reasonable The calm and the upset The poet and the writer The weaker and the stronger The unlucky and the lucky I cheated you I took more And you were left with less You were the weaker I was the stronger I cheated you But you never complained Because you loved me Even a small uphill creates a noticeable wind How then can I not notice you? Fading face Eyes drifting into the darkness of future Come find me you say I will wait for you, you say You took the moon away And now it's always dark at night A rainbow missing one color You touch me and I feel I exist I want you back Just for a second A second Too much to ask?
