Chlorophytum borivilianum is the scientific name of Safed musli which was derived from the Greek word Chloros- green and Phyto-Plant. Safed musli belongs to Liliaceae family in Chlorophytum genusMainly its tuberous roots are used in Ayurvedic medicines. Roots are used for the preparation of a nutritive tonic used in the general sexual weakness. Safed Musli offering cure for many ailments and health related problems.
