Her material is silver, not gold, with a vernacular created from the classical canon of fundamental forms. The Archaic aspect of her work conveys peace and power-not to be mistaken for coolness and distance. One needs to take the time to sense all the tenderness, as well as the irrepressible force, held within her jewelry. The volcano theme has therefore also played a decisive role in her work since the 1990s.
