Root resorption caused by orthodontic tooth movement is a unique and undesirable phenomenon that can occur at any level of clinical treatment. It can be affected by many factors such as the treatment mechanics used , factors related to the type and magnitude of the forces applied, and other factors related to treatment such as the types of tooth movement and premature contacts.
