Lack of awareness in role of community forests for atmospheric carbon offset, accelerates widespread clearing of existing forests. Quantifying carbon reserve in community forests would fill the gaps present in potential of community forests in carbon emission balance. This book provides approaches to estimate carbon storage potential of community forests. It also provides method of assessment of environmental factors affecting forest ecosystem carbon.
