Knygos aprašymas

This book contains detailed methods of field measurement and monitoring to understand the processes of initiation and elaboration of rill-gully network within small catchments in lateritic badland topography. Field monitoring and simultaneous simulation experiment in laboratory are made with empirical approach for having better cognition of the processes and association among the factors that are operating systematically within the small gully basins. The present work is relevant in the context of soil erosion as well as degradation of land resources. Knowledge of drainage network development and dynamics in miniature scale of gully basins may also help to understand the working principles of larger drainage system. This book is designed to assist geomorphologists, hydrologists, sedimentologists, geotechnical engineers as well as land managers.
