A journal written in a place of desolation, solitary confinement. I want to bring hope and strength to people when their life seems impossible through all life struggles and under duress. I found hope and truth in the darkest place on earth, take a look into my mind in this darkness. Colossians 2.5 says, "For though I am absent in body, yet I am with you in sprit, rejoicing to see your good order and the firmness of your faith in Christ" Also, words from a man living in the darkness with chains and mine to you and anyone else who wants to listen. I pray this journal brings hope and blessings to those suffering in situations that seem impossible. A native of Denver Colorado currently serving a 32 year prison sentence at the Colorado Correctional Facility, has six children 7-19 that he raises from visiting room. Louis grew up in a highly violent home, despite adverse circumstances at eighteen he accomplished more than most. Fear through abuse were the reason then, Louis now devotes his life healing a broken criminal system as a "Peer Educator Adjustment Keeper" (PEAK) allowing him the opportunity to speak to thousands of men as they enter "the inside" healing some of the sickest souls. Louis serves a living testimony of accountability, worth and redemption.
