Resistance and Plyometric training Effect of resistance and plyometric training on the performance of Sprinters and Jumpers must provide a firm understanding of training in order to trained and reach valid conclusion to improve the motor ability. This book learns about to determine effect of resistance and plyometric training on the performance of sprinters and jumpers. In this book the author randomly selected the subjects and assigned to the three experimental groups (plyometric, resistance and combined plyometric and resistance) and one control group with 20 subjects in each group.The selected variables were the performance of subjects in 50m Dash, Standing Broad Jump, Jump and Reach Test, 100m run and Long Jump. The Pre and Posttest were conducted to collect the data.The finding have shown the significant value of F- ratio's for selected variables in all the experimental groups i.e. plyometric, resistance and combined (plyometric and resistance), training programs as compared with the control group. The combined training program proved better than the other methods.
