Barani Agricultural Research Institute (BARI), Chakwal was established in 1979 to tackle the agricultural problems of Barani areas. The Barani Agricultural Research Institute is the only institute of the country which is conducting research on all aspects of Barani Agriculture. The Institute is comprised of seven research divisions namely; Crop Breeding, Agronomy, Soil Science, Horticulture, Plant Pathology, Agricultural Engineering and Agricultural Economics. This book is an overview of the research activities on wheat, tomato, chickpea and groundnut crops during internship at Barani Agricultural Research Institute, with special reference to plant disease management.
