Knygos aprašymas

Dental implants have become the state of the art in dentistry and are the most optimal substitute for missing teeth. This rehabilitation procedure is the talk of the town for thirty years now. Perhaps the most important aspect of implants is that they can restore the quality of life and greatly boost the patient's self-esteem. With evolution and introduction to the newer technology, the science of dental implants is growing and advancing at a good rate. Recent work on the implant design, surface, loading, imaging have been a boon to this zone. The success of any dental treatment depends on accurate diagnosis and proper treatment planning. Treatment planning must begin through a visualization of the end result. By paying attention to details, systematically analyzing and recognizing inadequacies in each factor predictable implant success can be achieved. Hence a thorough knowledge of the treatment protocol to be employed is the key to a successful implant procedure. Advancement in implant treatment protocol is not a goal which will be achieved after the research or study, it is a journey for a better modality than which is already available.
