This rhyming picture book is author Hope Taylor Spencer's first children's book. She's achieving her lifelong dream of publishing such a book. Each set of two stanzas starts out with one about what the children do on a sunny day at the beach. The second asserts that "nobody plays on rainy days," the refrain that repeats throughout the book.
