Currently, one of the tasks of the modern higher school is to prepare a competent, flexible, competitive specialist. In spite of the fact that in domestic education there are certain achievements in solving the issues of professional training quality assessment, this problem cannot be considered solved yet. In this regard, there is a need to refer to the experience of quality assessment of competitive specialists in other countries. Modern methodology of comparative pedagogy, based on the idea of "dialogue of cultures", gives fundamental importance to the "mechanism of cultural selection" - "peaceful borrowing" of best practices of countries with recognized achievements in the development and use of new technologies and methods to assess the quality of training.
