Knygos aprašymas

This study was conducted in the Department of Pharmacology in association with the Department of Pediatrics in Umaid hospital, Dr. S. N. Medical College, Jodhpur, Rajasthan, over a period of one year. This study was single centre, prospective, cross-sectional, observational type including neonates admitted to NICU with diagnosis of sepsis, patients were followed till discharge from NICU. A total of two hundred and fifty neonates of either sex who fulfilled inclusion criteria were included in this study, while those admitted in other wards were excluded from the study. Relevant data was collected from indoor case sheets and by interaction with parents wherever necessary and recorded in Case Record Form (CRF). The relevant details of drug prescribed were analyzed by WHO prescribing indicators.
