The genetic makeup of a person has been found to influence their response to several drugs. Pharmacogenetics and pharmacogenomics provide useful information in this respect and are important tools for tailoring personalized and precision medicine. This book provides recent literature on the role of genetic variants in drug response in some drug therapies.
