Lithium-ion batteries are used frequently in the electric vehicle only for their higher current and energy density Battery management system is very required for a special electric vehicle because lithium-ion battery is mainly not operating in the SOA region which is the Safety operation area. In these studies; the purpose, function, and performance of a battery for an electric vehicle are discussed in detail. In the previous studies, the concept of the battery along with the hardware system for an electric vehicle is discussed in the literature review section. Comparative analysis for all three batteries is also covered in the objective area.
