Gerbera is one of the most important flower grown in polyhouse throughout the world. In polyhouse many pests cause damage to gerbera. Spider mite Tetranychus urticae (Koch.)cause damage to this flower crop. Farmers uses many acaricides but unable to manage this mite pest. The biology, Population dynamics, Varietal screening and interaction with predatory mite are very important research issue. In this book all these aspects were covered with a view to develop a suitable Integrated Pest Management in future against this spider mite. This will ultimately reduce the cost of cultivation and increase the income of the greenhouse farmers.
