Knygos aprašymas

In recent years, Mexico City has been seriously affected by the lack of efficient transport services. This is due to the excessive population growth in the City, and the lack of an efficient urban transport system has been evident. A 'Bus Rapid Transit' (BRT) system, appeared as an alternative to the problem of transport in the City. However, the system is vulnerable to accidents; it is believed that since its implementation in 2005 there have been a total of 930 related accidents (until 2017). When accidents occur particularly during the peak hours, it usually brings chaos to the City. This book is a reference for all the BRT researchers who wants to study a different field of trasnporation research with accidents and risks methodologies from a systemic point of view.
