Here is an intersting, imaginative and effective way of promoting peace between warring countries through creating a network of friend through letter writing, reaching out to the adults through children. The intiator story. He shows us that peace can be promoted even between longstanding enemies like India and Pakistan. People on both sides of the border welcome it. Enlightened bishops encourage and even proven way of building community, even transcending religious differences. Politicians and generals may encourage wants it too. We can only hope that the effort will be continued by more organized groups to assure greater impact and continuity. We are thankful to Fr. Kalathi for sharing with us his wonderful initiative.
