An international, religious war has broken out across the Middle East between Sunni and Shia Islamic sects, cutting off all energy supplies from that region. Frustrated by its inability to acquire sufficient energy to power its ever expanding economy, China has invaded Russia, annexing the Siberian oil and gas fields and precipitating World War 3.
