Part travel journal and part spiritual diary, Journey to the Heart chronicles the author's journey across America by bus and then his travels as a pilgrim-tourist in Israel and Europe. Through his various experiences, the author reflects on the nature of God, suffering, illness, and art, all in the attempt to rebuild his life and heal his wounded soul.
