Technological innovation over the recent decades has attracted increased interest of researchers and industry experts thereby becoming an integral part of everyday lifestyle. The challenge lies in resolving the dispute between a forward-looking innovative structure promoting innovation, and a proportionately meticulous schema that is capable of winning faith of consumer. Despite the historical roots, focused attention of regulators, industry participants, consumers and academics have created an appreciated name for fintech in the recent years. A review of available literature suggests that extensive research has been conducted on fintech however, expositions to date tend to focus on fintech and its integration with financial services, primarily banking. The aim of the research is to explore the integration of transaction banking and technological innovation investigating the factors that underpin the choice of external partners to collaborate, design, develop and implement fintech capability. Therefore, drawing upon the strands of fintech adoption on financial services, the study further intends to determine its impact on revenue generation.
