I Was Made for More: Recovering Well from Mental, Physical and Emotional Abuse

Did you grow up in a home with deep dysfunction? Are you living in mental, physical, or sexual abuse? It is no secret that hurt people can hurt people. Addictions, mental illnesses, abuses, and much more happen in countless homes. Children, teens, and even adults are victims of people hurting people-even those they are supposed to love-every day. It creates deep scars and wounds that no one sees but you. But how do you, as the wounded one, heal from all the pain that abuse and brokenness causes? The wounds and scars inside are as real as a physical and visible cut to the arm. Far too many are suffering in silence. I am not a doctor or psychologist. I don't have a degree in medicine or psychology. But I was a victim for most of my life. I carried the trauma of physical, mental, sexual, and emotional abuse for years. Until one day, when I decided I was not going to live as a victim anymore. My past became a part of my future so I could begin to help others just like me to live again. I began to rewrite my future, and (to my surprise) it included all the trauma of my past. It is now time to give back! It is time for you to heal from your trauma. I did it and so can you.
