The tomato genetic resources are important materials for breeding and biotechnology, and determination of their relationships has valuable potential in the tomato industry. The success of tomato genetic resource collection, preservation, exploitation, and utilization in both present and long-term breeding, and production programs depend largely on the knowledge and understanding of the genetic background, diversity, relationships, and identification of these resources.
