In the area of the Greater Urals (Ural Mountains) at the end of the 4th millennium B.C. the most ancient Ural community is formed, including Finno-Ugrian (formed into a separate community by the end of the 3rd millennium B.C.) and Samoyed (formed into a separate community by the end of the 1st millennium B.C.). At the end of 3 millennia BC Finno-Ugric migrate to area of Southern Ural Mountains after leaving from there ancient Indo-Europeans because of exhaustion of bog iron ores (they developed in so-called Vary, archeologists have named these found settlements "the country of cities"). On the basis of Ugric language-bases at the end of 3 millennia BC - the middle of 1 millennia BC in area of Southern Ural Mountains are formed pravengerskoe (Hungarians) and praobsko-Ugric (Khanty, Mansi) a community of peoples; at the end of 3 millennia BC. E. - the middle of 2 millennia BC on the basis of the Finno-Perm language-basis are formed Perm (Komi, Udmurti) and Finno-Volga (Mari, Mordva, Saami, Finns, Izhorians, drivers or water, Veps, Estonians, Livonians) community of peoples.
