Michael Ferris, Mick to his mates. A Special Forces veteran of four tours in Afghanistan, the last one seeing him captured, tortured and declared clinically dead before a daring rescue. Two weeks before his 18th birthday he found himself standing guard on the docks of Vung Tau in South Vietnam, guarding ammunition and provisions being off loaded from the HMAS Sydney. After leaving the army he spent the next thirty-two years in the jewellery industry. Most of which were in his own importing and retail business. He has written two novels in the Ferris M. series, a third on the way.
