The families of Gamopetale, Apetalae & monocotyledons are described with reference to general characters, 2 or 3 e.gs. The manually drawn illustrations of examples include habit, flower, stamen and carpel, T.s. ovary, floral diagram and common plants belonging to each family. The selected examples are either cultivated or wild.Bentham and Hooker's system is followed for arranging the families.
