Knygos aprašymas

In developing countries like Ethiopia, growth in income, urbanization and human-population is projected rapidly. This suggests the future-demand for milk-&-meat increases substantially. By 2050 the global-demand for milk-and-meat is increased by 74% & 58% respectively, and a large part of this demand will originate from developing countries of the tropics. However, the productivity of dairy-and beef-cattle is far-below the levels expected attributed to limited-feed, poor-management and inadequate-awareness of reproductive-technologies in dairy and beef cattle. This work is therefore presents some of the Reproductive Technologies and Management Modern-&-applicable to boost cattle productivity. The book benefits the Cattle Farmers, Lecturers, Students, Extension Agents and Policy Makers mainly in the tropics.
