This book provides good evidence for basic information about Egyptian sheep breeds, advanced techniques in the molecular biology such as; '' PCR, RFLP, AFLP, RAPD, SSCP, SSR, and DNA sequencing, ... etc.'', and the importance of molecular markers in the genetic improvement of quantitative traits through series of steps start with detection of genes ''especially for BMP-15, BMPR-IB, GDF-9, IGFBP-3, and GH genes and their relation with productive and reproductive traits'' or mutations which affect a given trait and extend to overlapping with the traditional rules of inheritance for these traits. Also, detection of useful genes or mutations as a primary step before transferring them to another breed, composite, or line either by crossing or even by more sophisticated techniques should help to achieve the betters of their presence and avoid the damage that they may cause if compiled wrongly.
