Removable prosthodontics is that branch of prosthodontics that deals with the replacement of lost teeth and contiguous soft tissue structures for edentulous or partially edentulous patients by artificial substitutes that are removable from the mouth by the patient1. It deals with fabrication of complete and partial removable denture prosthesis.Various materials have been used in dentistry such as wood, bone, ivory before 18th century and the methyl-methacrylate resin was introduced to the National Society of Denture Prosthesis at Atlantic city in July 1937.Fractures may occur in use, because of its unsatisfactory transverse strength, impact strength or fatigue resistance. To overcome these shortcomings, various fibres are used to strengthen the acrylic resin have been suggested.Numerous studies have evaluated the use of individual reinforcing fibers to improve the strength of the denture base with and without thermocycling.
