Knygos aprašymas

The book is for students and practitioners interested in designing and developing the application to manage research projects in the short-term and to digitalize all kinds of knowledge assets of the university setting in the long-run. The process of design and development of the application was separated into three iterations by the Extreme Programming methodology. Specific methods, in each iteration, included gathering, analysis, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and evaluation. Basic concepts related to the study design comprised of data-knowledge-information, knowledge management, knowledge management systems, and the view of knowledge management in Literature Review which section also discussed software development approach, web design and applications, and full-text search. The product of this project is a Web application named ¿RPKMS¿ that has, as assessed by users, initially met basis requirements of research project management at the university setting.
