The OpenStack Object Storage is a multi-holder or multi-tenant object storage system. It is highly scalable and uses RESTful HTTP API manage large amounts of unstructured data at reduced cost.The technology behind OpenStack consists of a series of projects that are interrelated thus delivering various components for a cloud infrastructure solution. OpenStack project is a global merger of the developers and the cloud computing technologists. It produces an open standard cloud computing platform for both varieties of cloud i.e. public and private. It focuses on ease of mplementation, massive scalability, a variety of rich features, and tremendous extensibility, the project aims to deliver a practical and reliable cloud solution for all types of organizations.
