The use of Radiographs and other imaging techniques plays an important role not only in the diagnosis but also in the treatment planning of patients with disorders of the face, jaws and the teeth. Today, we cannot imagine practice in any discipline of dentistry without this important aid. It would take a lifetime of clinical experience to encounter the whole range of the orofacial disorders and to become familiar with the varied radiographic appearances of the same condition. As there is no real substitute for personal experience, it is hope that a collection and interpretation of radiographs will help to accelerate the learning process and will provide a reference for less common clinical conditions. The quality of a radiograph can also be determined by the image sharpness, image sharp and image dimensions. The image should be sharp to show object borders clearly, and should be of the same shape and size as the object they represent.
