Knygos aprašymas

Archaeologia Baltica is an international open-access journal published by Klaipėda University, Institute of Baltic Region History and Archaeology. The journal is published since 1995, whilst the institute publish journal since 2006. It is an annual refereed academic journal, published in English. It publishes all fields of European archaeology, with a special focus on the archaeology of the region around the Baltic Sea, and advance scientific methods and techniques in archaeology. These may take the form of substantial research papers, or shorter research reports. Short papers may include, for example, new techniques, philosophical discussions, current controversies, and suggestions for new research, as well as conventional research papers. Review or overview papers are welcome, provided they are sufficiently critical and succinct, and make a conceptual contribution to the field. The submission of a paper will be held to imply that it represents an original article, has not previously been published, and is not being considered for publication elsewhere (except in the form of an abstract, published lecture or academic thesis).

All articles sent to the Editorial Board are peer-reviewed; to verify originality, manuscripts might be checked via Crossref Similarity.
