Chosen For The Challenge

In this book, we continue to remember and celebrate our journey to "rebuild the ancient ruins and to raise and restore the age-old foundations of The Met Philly." I had to document this journey because it is now part of modern-day miracles and history. As you read through the pages of this book, you will see that our highs were high, and our lows were low, yet when you know it is a Word from God, you can't waiver. The rise, the fall, the prayers, the moments. The lessons, the hopes, the joys, and the beautiful remembrances will have you rejoicing and, at times, in tears. Do you know you have been chosen by God as well? We were all sent to this earth with a purpose. It is my prayer that as I share my testimony of triumphs and tragedies, you will be enlightened, strengthened, and encouraged to continue your purposeful journey. God has chosen you and yearns for you to choose Him. Take time to discover who God has created you to be. You were not born by accident, but on purpose and in purpose. Stay faithful, pray without ceasing and stand firm in the power of His might. "Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places."
