Knygos aprašymas

Governments develop NPO-friendly laws. In Europe and North America mainly, students can participate in courses on NPO work or in studies concerning "NPOs ¿ Non-Profit-Organizations". NPOs are often one of the first organizations that help victims of natural disasters. Around 1,5 million NPOs offer social work and health care in the USA. A large number of NPOs (e.g. all 23 African YMCAs) work on HIV and AIDS prevention and offer help for those affected by this disease in African countries. The increasing importance of NPOs in the world is the reason for the development of this Bachelor Thesis. It examines the challenges of knowledge management in particular organizations ¿ global faith-based NPOs. The Thesis explains knowledge management and its elements and identifies problems for global faith-based NPOs during the development of a concept for its own knowledge system. The aim of this thesis is to identify the challenges of knowledge management and to offer solutions for global faith-based NPOs that want to implement a knowledge system. A guideline for a successful implementation offers the reader one possible solution.
